Can you develop for CF.net without Visual Studio 2003?

If so, where can I find info on this. I have looked and looked, but cannot
find samples/examples of this.

"maybe", that a big maybe, you might be able to use Mono to develop :
www.go-mono.com - although I don't know if it works with the CF. Personally I
like to stick with VS.
