Hello,

I have designed Custom Shortcut Menus. Is their a way to copy one to
another name so I dont have to re-create another one becuase most of the
shortcuts will be the same ?

Either through VBA or Access Menu optins Can you copy Custom Shortcut Menus ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

are you talking about in the same database? i can't think of reason you
would need two identical shortcut menus - just use the same one in two
places.

You can create a new menu, and then hold down the ctrl-key while you drag
the items form the old menu.

In fact, I can't really see how you can create much of a custom menu bar
without having learned the "ctrl-key" function.

So, just hold down the ctrl key. This is often referred to as ctrl-drag.

(note that even windows supports this..and if you ctrl-drag a file from one
folder to atoner..it "copies" the file). As far as I know, this feature
worked more then 10 years ago...even in windows 3.1....

Anyway, just create a new menu, and then use ctrl-drag to grab the items
from the old one.....
