Hello,

I have 2 questions regarding dist lists....

1. Can you CC or BCC them? I send out emails to alot of customers and they
do not want to see all the other emails?

2. Is there a easier way to add addresses from a word document?

Thank you

I'd suggest asking question 1 in a newsgroup related to whatever e-mail
client you're using.

You could ask question 2 there as well, or in a newsgroup related to Word.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.

Hi.

BCC them.
2. Is there a easier way to add addresses from a word document?

Never store data in a Word document. Data should always be stored in a
database, like Microsoft Access, which is the topic of the newsgroup you've
posted these questions to. If you store data in a Word document, then
you'll usually end up copy/pasting or having to write VBA code to extract
the data from where it's stored to wherever you need to use it.

Since the addresses are already stored in the Word document, you may want to
ask your question in a newsgroup dedicated to your mail client software or
Word.

From a Word document?
You have posted this message to the wrong newsgroup.
The access in this groups name refers to Microsoft Access, a database
program.
Please repost to the correct newsgroup for whatever Office program you
are using. I would suggest you include your Windows and Office version
number in the message.

To add a little to Gunny's post, you might be better off getting a utility to
help you with this chore. Many companies seem to be blocking e-mail addressed
to BCC lists these days, presumably to cut down on spam. So, your remaining
option is to then send out individual messages to each recipient. Total
Access EMailer and WorldCast are two utilities that come to mind.

Both utilities allow one to track bounced messages.
