Can you allow cells to be merged under a protected worksheet?

Is it possible to allow users to merge cells while working under a protected
worksheet?

Hello Greg,

If you have protected the Sheet and the Content check box is checked,
then no. The sheet must be Unprotected to make any changes to the cells
on the sheet.
