Can Word 2000 and 2002 be installed on same PC?

Is it possible to have two different versions of Word on a single pc and have
them operate completely and independently from each other?

In other words- we want to have Word 2002 on our pcs to do development of
forms. We want to be able to develop the forms on our pcs in CED using
MSWord 2002, then test them on our same pcs in MSWord 2000, to make sure they
function correctly.

Will this work?

Yes, but you cannot run them both at the same time. It is recommended to
install the later version last. There will be a startup performance hit
each time you move from one version to the other, but once the version that
you want to use has been started it should be OK.
