Word processing --- Microsoft Word
Spreadsheet --- Microsoft Excel
Desktop publishing --- Microsoft Publisher
Presentation --- Microsoft Power Point
Web browser --- MS Internet Explorer
Web design --- Ms Frontpage
Graphics editor --- MS Paint, MS photo editor
Engineering drawing --- ???
o..nop, you still have to use AutoCad or Microstation or SmallWorld or etc...

You forgot...
Microsoft Broadband Routers
Microsoft Mouse
Microsoft Visio
Microsoft Outlook

As for;
Graphics editor -- MS Paint, MS Photo Editor
These don't count as they really don't compete with such software as; Paint Shop Pro and
Adobe Photoshop/Photoshop Elements or Illustrator.

ACAD, now there's a dinosaur that's time has about passed by. Have a
look at Rhinoceros and see what a Windows program can do, instead of a
made over DOS program like ACAD.

I know this is way off topic on a variety of levels, but did you know that
with Visio Pro you can create everything from floor and building plans to
electronics schematics? It'll even help you design your garden. It is
quickly turning into one of my most used applications.

I suggest you drop Outlook/Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
from the list until MicroSoft learns a little bit about security.
I suggest you drop Frontpage from the list until MicroSoft learns
a little bit about making w3c compliant pages.

Outlook is NOT in any similar to Outlook Express.

Except what they share from IE and in interpreting HTML.
