Can the event log be disabled ? (or not installed).

I have a CompactFlash XPe image using RAM-REG and there is gentle background
writing to the event log thus consuming RAM.

Can the event log be disabled ?

I know the event log can be moved to another disk but in this application
there is only CF.

Did you try to stop or disable "Event Log" service?

In TD you can change the Event Log component FBA resources to disable the service.
