Can the CF be used with CE3.0 devices?

Can the CF be used with CE3.0 devices? I cannot successfully deploy to my
IPAQ HP3850 - runtime error "An unhandled exception of type
'System.MissingMethodException' occurred in System.Windows.Forms.dll"

..NETCF supports only Pocket PC devices which run CE 3.0. The iPaq 3850 is a
Pocket PC device so it does support .NETCF. Can you explain in more detail
what your application is doing and at what point it fails with this error?

I'm trying with an empty "Smart Device Application", created by the wizard.

Same error with either VB or C#.
