can,t find application

i am having problems with an error message when i try to connect directly
from my desktop shortcuts.
error message
(short cut to site)
canot find application
i hope someone can help

Make sure your browser is set as your default handler for Internet shortcuts.
Start> Default Programs>select the browser as Default Program.
