Can someone HELP?

My computer is slow. I would like to clean up all old programs and
files,uninstalled and etc.etc...I have windows xp home edition.Is there
something out there software,download, book or some great mind that can HELP?
There is so much junk in my files and I don't know ( WHAT TO KEEP AND WHAT
NOT TO KEEP.)

Try ccleaner at www.ccleaner.com
It's free. When you use it, only use "run cleaner" "scan for issues" and if
you look at the applications start up page you will probably be able to pick
out stuff that you don't use. You can run the uninstaller from there.

Only you know what data and programs to keep
You might try by first running Disk Cleanup
Then running at least three malaware apps, eg MS Defender, SpyBot and
Adaware.
I assume you have an anti virus app

Only you can know what programs are on your system and what you need to
