error 452 too many recipients. Does it mean that I have too many individual
addresses in a group?

It means you violated your e-mail provider's anti-spam quota regarding
how many recipients may be specified per e-mail. The limit might be
10, 25, 50, or something else. You will have to check with your
e-mail provider to ask them what is their
maximum-recipient-count-per-email quota for your account type.
