Can some of the MY folders be moved?

Howdy

New XP Pro

I want to move My Docs, My Pictures, My Music to second partition of C (D
is this possible...or should I not muck with them? I want to keep all my
files that should be backed up on D.

Download and install TweakUI:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI. Expand "My Computer" and click on "Special Folders".
You can easily change the location of the folders there.

This method relocates the My Documents and it's sub-folders (Pictures & the
Music folder)

Change the Default Location of the My Documents Folder
