can send but not receive mail in outlook

Hi, I have just installed Outlook 2003 on my computer. I have 4 separate
email addresses running from Outlook, 3 pre-existing and 1 new one. I can
send/receive mail normally from the 3 pre-existing addresses, but can only
send mail from the new address. I have tried sending test messages to myself,
and although the messages are received properly in webmail, they don't appear
in Outlook. There are no error messages either. Sometimes I can see a Norton
incoming mail scan happening, but there is no message (I have checked the
junk mail inbox as well as the Norton spam mailbox). I tried adding the new
email account to another PC as well, and same problem - I can send mail, but
not receive. I have tested the settings successfully in the Email Accounts
tab, but still don't get the confirmation email from Outlook in my inbox even
though Outlook congratulates me for successfully testing the settings.
Please help. Many thanks in advance

Try disabling the Norton AntiSpam stuff temprorarily. If you specifically
try to receive from that account does anything happen (good, bad or
indifferent)?

Many thanks for your suggestion. I have managed to fix it - the problem was
due to an incorrect username and password that I had entered (for another
account rather than that specific email id).
