can SAVED ITEMS FOLDER be recovered?

G

I'm new in Windows Vista-WMail. I had saved a couple dozen messages in my
emails' Local
Folders/Saved Items subfolder, some with attachments (mostly .pps). I was
deleting one saved message
today. After I click delete, the entire Saved Items subfolder was gone! Any
way I could still retrieve the
subfolder? I could not find it in the Recycle Bin, which is normal-deleted
messages do not pass thru the Recycle Bin.
