Can RTM be upgrade install from RC2?

I have Windows Vista RC2 installed. Can I upgrade install RTM so that I
do not have to reinstall drivers and application softwares?

It may work, but it isn't officially supported, and I would not
recommend it.

But I would never do any upgrade install ...

I agree. You don't want to get months from now and find you have a problem
and no solution. Bite the bullet now.

I did not have to wait that long: I knew the sound card was in trouble
instantly when the upgrade install completed, spent 40 minutes
attempting to repair, gave up doing so and made a clean install. I knew
upgrade install is not a good practice but this time I did it.
