Can receive but not Send in Outlook 2003

I can receive but cant send from Outlook 2003. AOL is my service provider
and Im pulling mail from Yahoo.

I have all the settings correct. The AOL SMTP is at 587 and such. Last week
I was able to send but not receive. This week with some changes It's just the
opposite.

Is their a conflict, software effor in Outlook?? Need some serious help

Do you get any error messages when either sending or receiving fails? If
so, what are they?
