Can print from Windows, can't print from command prompt

I am using windows 2000 pro. Have a HP LaserJet 4000. I
can print fine from any windows program but recently I
find that I cannot print from the command prompt or from
my dos program that printed fine a few weeks ago. Any
ideas? Thanks. Glenn

Is the printer connected directly to the workstation or is it on the
network?
