Can powerpoint show a presentation in PART of the screen?

I'm wondering if there is a way to run a PowerPoint presentation such
that it...
....takes up only a portion of the screen AND does not show tool-bars
and the like.


Here's the situation:

I have a large screen Plasma monitor.

We have a variety of "dashboard" type statistics about our company
running in various windows.

I would like to run a Power Point presentation that take up the upper
right portion of the screen.

Full-Screen mode does not work because, well, it takes up the full
screen.

Window mode (where a presentation is shown in a window) is close to
what I want.

Except that in Window mode it still shows the MENU, Navigation Keys,
and the like.

What I'm trying to find is a way to show the presentation in a window
that has nothing more
then just borders.

It depends on a few things. What is controlling the other windows? How are
they distributed on the display? Can they be resized? Can you put the
computer input in a PIP (picture in picture)?

You can run the slide show in a window (Ctrl and click the Slide Show icon)
and minimize the main PowerPoint window. This defaults to the upper left on
my systems. After you have the other windows on the display activate the
slide show window and you're going.

If you answer the questions above we may be able to come up with a better
solution for you..........TD

This works fine - I use PPT97.
But when I try this with more than one presentation they all appear on top
of each other in the default position (top left hand quarter). Is there a
way to move them or to tile them?

The CTRL-Slide-Show thing seems to work for me.

I'm also going to try out the provided link to see if that will work
even better.
