Can PnP locate drivers in .CAB files

Can PnP post sysprep locate drivers in a .CAB

I can download updated driver from the windows update site
for different vendors, i.e. NVIDIA; can I leave the file
in .CAB format in the path listed in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\DevicePath ??
 
No. You will need to extract them and place them in the
fold that you point to in the DevicePath so the .inf can
be found durning the hardware discovery process..
