Can Outlook generate a list according to dated tasks?

Our medical office therapists are required to update patient treatment plans
every two months (or more in some instances). The forms they use are self
made MS Word documents. We need a way to generate a list of names of patients
whose treatment plans are due for a specific week.( The treatment plans
include a date within the body of the document as to when they are due). Can
Outlook be used in any way to help with this task?

In the Contacts folder you could add a field showing the next treatment
date.

Use Phone List View, use the Field Chooser to make a New Field, make it a
Date Type of field and drag it up beside the other fields.

You can now sort by the new date field.
