KillMeTwice

When scrolling in my continous forms I can only move down and not back
up.

It has to be a form which is NOT full of records. When it is full
everything works normal, but if the size of the form is big and the
recordnumber smal (smaler then the window actually can take) I can
only move down. It moves down and hides the first record, but trying
to scroll up does nothing.

I have tried it on other computers and find the same!

Any fixes?

KillMe,
When you're only one or two records away from the top, the Scroll bar is defeated. Try
using the little arrow at the top of the scroll bar.
I can only guess that Clicking or Dragging the ScrollBar is basically a tool for making
"large" multi-record moves through data, and when very close to the top, or for very few
records (inrelation to the form size), it has no "logical" function.
Also, when there are not enough records to fill the subform, the bar length occupies
the whole scroll bar slider... so it has no place to "move"

Thanks for the answer, but it does not make sence to me. If I could
not move down either I could understand. Even if as you say "the bar
length occupies the whole scroll bar slider... so it has no place to
"move" - you can still move down! A user will not look carefully to
see if the sub is full or not. He will simply scroll down. Trying to
scroll up again "misses" the first record. He can use the arrow as you
said, but then he needs to know there is another record at the top. It
is very confusing.

The quickest way to move from the bottom record of a subform to the first record is to
left click the empty area between the upper arrow and the scroll bar,
and HOLD the left button. That will take you to the first record at the top of the
subform.
That's even quicker than manually dragging the scrollbar, particularly on subs with many
records
