Can not upload large files

I know this is terribly vague, but I am having trouble uploading large files
using a variety of methods. (Eg - using adobe photoshop to upload to
kodakgallery, using kodakgallery web site to upload there, using Earthlink
software to upload to my own site, using ftp to upload to my site, etc)
Emails with attachments go without any problems ever.
My firewall (McAfee)doesn't seem to be blocking anything. I uninstalled
McAfee Provacy Service. I've tried connecting from a cafe instead of home.
I've scanned for viruses/emails. I've set up new network connections. I
hooked into directly to our modem (vs wireless). No luck anywhere anyhow.
Any ideas? I've spent HOURS...

You'll have to explain what happens when you try under each of the scenarios
above. What are the exact error messages if any? Precisely what do you do
and what happens?

Well, when using Adobe, I get "there is a problem with your internet
connection..." and then advises me to check firewall. Other instances it
either gets stuck, times out, or nothing happens. It just doesn't "go."

I had the same problem in the past and I had to format the PC to resolve the
problem.
know I have the same problem and I won't to format the PC again and I can
add an information
when I use the connection to upload files from another PC (connected by a
network cable) I can upload file (that's mean that the connection is good it
isn't a problem with the internet connection) it's a problem with windows XP
(I had the professionel version with SP2 pack)
