Can not start microsoft outlook message

G

Gus Guevara

I use AOL to get to the internet explorer. In the internet
explorer I look for jobs. When I find a job and they ask
for my resume I go to my resume folder and try to copy it
and a message comes on "Can not Start microsoft outlook".
This message takes about half a minute to dissappear. It
is very annoying when I have to go back and forth opening
my word documents. When I go to Start/Programs/microsoft
Outlook the same message appears.
Do I need to buy MS Outlook software? or what is happening.
Can I solve this problem without buying software?
Can anybody gime some clues to this problem? Thank you

Hi Gus,

Microsoft Outlook is part of the Microsoft Office suite of software. You
should however be able to do what you want with Outlook Express which is
installed with Windows as a part of Internet Explorer. If you are however
using Netscape and do not have Internet Explorer on your system, that avenue
may not be available to you.

Please respond to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be
interested.

Hope this helps

Gus does say that he's accessing Internet Explorer through AOL. I think that
the problem may be that he's using an AOL mail client instead of OE, and AOL
is notoriously poor at handling attachments.
