Can not send to Outbox

I am unable to send messages to the Outbox of both Outlook
Express and Incredimail. When I open up the "Move to
Folder" dialogue box and select Outbox the OK button stays
deactivated.

It works OK on all the other folders.

If however I am NOT connected to the internet and attempt
to send an Email it goes to the Outbox.

It is also possible to open up the Outbox box and to send
messages from there as normal.

Any thoughts?

Correct, this can't be done.
Use the usual procedure, Create your new mail, press the 'send' button, and
your message will go to the outbox, (if the 'send message immediately' is
not checked), With the message in the outbox, and connected to the net,
press the "send and receive' button, and away it goes

This is correct. In offline mode when composing a new message and pressing
the 'send' button, the message will go to the outbox..
It is also possible to open up the Outbox box and to send
messages from there as normal.
Any thoughts?

There is no need to 'open' the outbox. To send a message which is in the
outbox, connect to the net, and press the 'send/receive' button in your
mailprogram,s main window.
