can not see disk C,D etc in my computer folder

Has anybody an idea why when I try to explore disc C,D etc via my
computer folder I can only see shared documents and my documents
icons- how can I unhidde disc C,D etc.When I use total commander all
the disc are present and I can explore them. I use windows XP pro

Otherwise...TweakUI will let you unhide them, hopefully it is that easy..
