Part way down the page is manual removal instructions. Have a look at them
and it'll tell you what to look for.

I downloaded Microsoft's antispyware program free and it works to remove it.
It did come back and then I changed my default browser from internet
explorer to my AOL browser and it has not come back as of yet. It seems to
be connected to internet explorer. I tried several other things but none
worked. This was the easiest and worked! Hope it helps someone else. It
was driving me crazy!

If it's running in memory, it's just recreating itself.
You have to remove it from memory, before removing it from the hdd.
and if it connected to ie, you have to check your BHO's

Excuse my ignorance, but what are BHO's? And how do you remove something
from memory? Thanks.

Don't sweat the ignorance, everyone starts out ignorant and learns.
BHO = Browser Helper add-On
BHO's Are usuall dll files that have been registered in the registy as IE
helpers.
such Helpers are automatically loaded when IE is run.

Basically , The program is already running, and it's checking the registry,
periodically,
to make sure it remains installed.
Also, you may have several programs running, the mal-ware program, and
monitoring programs, which
keep track of the main mal-ware file to make sure it isn't permanently
deleted.

Spybot Search & Destroy is my prefered program for digging thru my running
processes, BHO's and startup items. ( www.spybot.info )
So my suggestions will be based on it, but there are other programs, such as
HijackThis.

Get Spybot and run it in Advanced Mode ( Mode | Advanced )
Use it's built-in update function 1st.
Use it's Tools menu, to view BHO's, Startup Items & Running Processes,
to see what's loading and find out what each file is, to help you manually
find the pest files.
