can not open received powerpoint attachment through hotmail

scanned document through PowerPoint, sent to my hotmail account unable to
open document, get error message after download, path or file name for
C:/Documents and Settings/Jenn/Local Settings/Temporary Internet
Files/Content.Ie5/veknzic5/decschedule.ppt is invalid check path and file
name?
 
Two things to try:

(1) Try saving it to your hard drive from Hotmail and then opening it from
your hard drive.
(2) Start up PowerPoint and go to the Help menu and choose Check for
Updates. Follow the instructions to install the latest service packs.
