I use to and now cannot open links or attachment emailed to me. Does
anybody have any ideas or solutions?

What happens when you try, any error message?
What happens when you send yourself an attachment?

Ok using vista, I have tried just about everything mentioned while
gogling this. Unistalled AVG, turned off windows defender, even tried
disabling windows firewall. I have settings in windows mail set to
allow me to download attatchments. Using IE 7, When I try to open or
save attatchment I get error saying cant save attachment not enough
disk space. I have SP1 vista home premium. SP 2 has not come in via
windows update yet. .
Any other ideas?

Thanks

It should never be necessary to turn off the Windows Firewall
or Windows Defender.

I recommend upgrading to Windows Live Mail:
http://download.live.com/wlmail

When you reinstall AVG antivirus, select 'custom' install, which
then allows you to unselect installing its troublesome email
scanning module.

OK, good luck.
I recommend upgrading to WLM whenever the problems with WM
are not easily resolved, and all the normal fixes have been tried.
