Can not map a drive from the command prompt since virus infection

Since one of my servers was infected by the valla worm,
after I cleaned it, I noticed that I can't do a net use
from the command prompt. When you type: net use for
instance, you get nothing. But I can still do drive
mappings from the explorer.
Does this have anything to do with the NTDVM?
Please help.

I can only suspect that some of your win32 files are infected/modified.
Try another A-V scan. Several and up-to-date.
Check the size of net.exe and net1.exe at the least and/or try SFC
/scannow

VALLA is known to increase the size of PE executables by 2048 bytes.
