Can not enter text into text box

IE 6 on my wifes computer won't let us enter text into
any text box on the web page. Also, we get script errors
if we try to print something from a page. The error page
itself gets an error 30 - Unspecified error. The about
box gets and error 96 - Unspecified error.

The system should have all the latest updates. I have
the automatic updates turned on. We haven't installed
anything new late. It just started today. Any
suggestions.
