Can not disconnect internet connection

Hi:

Since infected the blaster virus, I can not disconnect internet connection
after connected to the internet. The connection icon is not responsed to my
right mouse click to show status or to disconnect. I believe the virus is
killed by antivirus app.

Any help is very appreciated. Thanks

If memory servers me correctly the blaster virus required a patch/fix
program downloaded to clear out some registery entries. Was this preform
when you cleaned the Virus?
 
Yes. I did. After removing virus using F-Prot, I downloaded and installed
patches from Microsoft site.
