Can not browse local IIS site.

I just setup IIS on my WinXP SP1 PC, but each time I put http://127.0.0.1:81
in a browser, it pops up with a login screen. The site has been marked to
allow anonymous access, so why is this happening?

Is it a Windows rights problem associated with the "C:\InetPub\WWWRoot"
folder?

Forgot to mention:

* Using AdsGone which occupies port 80 (anti-popup/spyware)

Thus the IIS web site is on port 81.

Thanks M.

For some strange reason, http://localhost:81/index.htm works fine now, when
it didn't yesterday. In fact, http://localhost:81 works too.

It seems that there is some sort of time delay before the IIS server on
WinXP stablises. Thanks again.
