Dear all,

I am using win98/DOS to boot up and then run ghost 7.5, can
this copy and recognize NTFS and copy to NTFS of Win2000 system?

Please help.

Thanks

That's not entirely true although it depends on what the OP is wanting to
do, it's not quite clear. If he is wanting to copy individual files then
no, but Ghost 7 does recognize and can copy NTFS partitions.

You will be able to use Ghost or Drive Image to create or restore
images or NTFS partitionsafter booting from a DOS disk. You
will be also be able to copy NTFS partitions. You will not be
able to access individual files on NTFS partitions.

My interpretation of the OPs statement "copy to NTFS of Win2000 system" was
that they wanted the target of the image to be an NTFS partition.

He will be able to image an NTFS partition to create a new NTFS
partition in previously unpartitioned space.

He will not be able to save an image file to an existing NTFS
partition unless he has third party NTFS drivers, such as the one
from www.winternals.com.
