Can I use FP 2000 with Office 2003?

I installed Office Professional 2003 but it doesn't have FrontPage. I did a
custom install of my Office Premium 2000 and only installed FrontPage. I then
updated it via the Office website.
When I open a website, it displays the contents of the website and then
crashes.
My OS is XP Professional and it is up to date. I have lots of RAM and free
disk space.
Is it possible to use FP 2000 with Office 2003 installed or do I have to
shell out $109 to upgrade to FP 2003? I do very little website development
but I need to maintain a page or two on a site that I developed with
FrontPage.

Yes, but Office2000 / FP2000 should have been installed prior to install Office 2003. In general it
is always a good idea to install application in the order they were released, so that you do not
replace newer files of the same name, etc.

OK. But given that I didn't install them in release order, is my only way to
make FP 2000 work to uninstall everything and then install them in the order
of release?
When I installed FP 2000 I installed it in a separate folder, Microsoft
Office2k, instead of the suggested name, Microsoft Office, in an attempt to
avoid overwriting common files.

Office apps always shares common files, even when you install the core app into a separate folder,
and MS doesn't recommend have multiple versions of Office installed.

I would uninstall both, and then re-install in the order of release, however someone else may have
other suggestions.

I did. I uninstalled Office 2003 and 2000 and then reinstalled Office 2000,
updated it via office update, then installed Office 2003. and updated it. I
have the same problem!

Here is the summary a the top of the dialog box.

AppName: frontpg.exe AppVer: 4.0.2.6625 ModName: mso9.dll
