Can I update a graphic in PowerPoint without delete and replacing?

Does anyone know if I can replace an existing graphic in PowerPoint with a
new graphic without having to delete and insert the new graphic? I would like
not to have to reposition and/or resize the new graphic? Thanks.

Which version of PPT are you using? 2007 has a "change picture" option. In
2003, you'd need to have filled an autoshape with the pix, then you could
just give it a different fill.
