Can I synch Calendar with dates in an Excel spreadsheet?

I maintain an Excel spreadsheet with 30-40 projects and specific information about them, including key dates. Then I go ahead and enter all the key dates on my Outlook calendar -- and when I change dates on one, I have to manually change the dates on the other. Is there any way I can synch this information with my Outlook calendar, so that when I change a date on the spreadsheet, the date changes in the calendar as well?

There is nothing built into Outlook to automatically synchronize with a spreadsheet. It certainly could be done, but it would take custom automation code.

I used to do the same thing. What I did was maintain a master
in Excel that had formulas written to change dates based on
GoLive dates. Each import from Excel had the same Category.

Nuke the whole Category in OutLook, change the Excel s-sheet
to show new dates and re-import. It was a pain but worked.

The next step I am looking at is sending emails out based on StartDates
of the tasks, and every day until complete (even PastDues when
after EndDate has lapsed.) To send it to a task manager instead of
owner, requesting status. Highest possible completion for them
would be 99% pending validation.

Not sure if this helps? -Randy-
