Often but not always when I add a date into letters and hit the ENTER key, I
get a date printed as 21 April 2005-04-21, instead of for example the 21
April 2005 that I would type. Is there a way of stopping this add-on to my
style?

The only way to avoid it is to press ESC or the spacebar when you get the
AutoComplete tip.

Yes I realise this 'method' is possible, but its certainly not ideal is it
particularly if I want to right justify the address and date aspect of a
letter for instance. But thanks for trying!
