Can I set up a family picture slide show with music?

I would like to set up a slide show with family pictues generally progressing
from childhood, while a specific song that I choose plays while the photos
progress.
I would like to have about twenty pictures per song, with the pictures
displayed for the right amount of time in order that the last picture in the
set is displayed at the end of the each song. Then after a 2 second pause or
so, a new theme song begins with a new set of pictures. Am I making sense
here? If anyone could tell me how to do this , I would greatly appreciate it
.. I not a computer beginner, I just can't figure out how to do this! I have a
file on my computer with all the pictures I want to use, and another file
with the songs. If you can help, please e-mail me at (e-mail address removed)
Thanks! Can this be done on PowerPoint 2003?
