Can I set a default start and end time for meetings in calendar?

I want to set a default start and end time at one hour when I schedule new
appts. Is this an option in MS Office?

Set your time scale to 60 minutes. Any appointment or meeting created when
using a view showing the scale will have a default duration of one hour.
You can also preselect the slot where the event should so and the default
duration will reflect the preselected duration.
