I need to send an invitation via email, to multiple recipients preferably
personally addressed ie Dear John Hancock ....
Is this possible within Outlook?

Yes. It's called mailmerging. The Contacts newsgroup regularly has posts on
how to do it.

Are the people you want to email in your Contacts?

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Imagine if every Thursday your shoes exploded if you tied them the usual

complaining.

First step is to add them each individually to Contacts. If all the names
are in one email, cut and paste them into Contacts.

New | Contact, then pop the data in the relevant fields.

Now go to google.groups and read the descriptions on how to merge an email
to Outlook contacts.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
