Can I save PowerPoint images as JPEG or BMP files?

I received a PowerPoint Christmas greeting with several incredible winter
scenes. I'd like to save them for use as backgrounds in e-mails. I've been
able to capture a screen shot and paste it into WordPad, but the resulting
word document can't be inserted into an Outlook e-mail as a background. The
same is true when capturing the screen and saving it as a Clipboard file.
Does anybody know of a way to save a PowerPoint image as a JPEG or bitmap
file? I don't have the whole PowerPoint program, just the viewer. Please
mail reply to (e-mail address removed) and I will also check this board. Thanks.

If you capture and save in Paint you should be able to save it as JPG,
and then include that in e-mail in the ordinary way
