then the answer is yes, but if you do you will no longer be able to
un-install (un-do) the actual hot fix or security update.
Yes, you can delete them, but do not uninstall them. Once deleted you
can no longer uninstall them. Don't forget, there's a lot of difference
between deleting and uninstalling.

I leave them be for about two weeks until my next biweekly disk cleanup.
That provides plenty of time to undo an update/fix that causes
problems--which I've never had happen by the way.

Yep, got tons of them myself. When I finally get around to it I'll probably
delete all but the last three months since I do have a Ghost backup if I
ever need them. One your certain that none of the updates has caused you any
problems (with any and all applications) they just take up space, not much
space if you check, but space never the less. Most likely if you installed
SP1 or SP2 after you installed XP these two updates take up by far the most
space. If your PC came with SP2 then you will not find any un-install
folders/files for the major service packs.
