??? Can I play VCD files on WMP XP ??

I have a vcd, but the quality is bad on a dvd player. I used to play this
same cd-r on my old pc which had windows me with no problems. Now I got XP,
so I m not sure if that is the problem or I had some special tool or codec
to play this. I tried winx, but no luck. Any help would be appreciate it.

Yes, they should play just fine on XP.

Windows Media Playerv9.0..... from the Toolbar, Play... third line down...
DVD, VCD or CD Audio.

great, I got it, but how can I save this settings so I don't have to do this
manually? Or is this the way it's gotta be done on xp ? Thanks again.
 
Hi, That's the way it should be. You have to tell WMP what you wish to
play.
