I have access 2000 installed and cant seem to open a document that was
created in access 2003. Is there anyway to do it? I updated Excel, Word,
Power Point and Outlook to 2003 by purchasing Office Student and Teachers but
it didn't update access. I need to open these documents for class and dont
want to put out the hundreds of dollars to update access for one class

Thanks, Bobby

If the database was stored in the Access 2002/2003 format (which, by the
way, isn't the default format for Access 2003: the Access 2000 format is),
then Access 2000 will not be able to open it.

Office Student and Teacher Edition doesn't contain Access, which is why it
didn't update your version of Access. You need to purchase Office
Professional in order to get Access (or the new Microsoft Office Small
Business Management Edition 2006 edition). By the way, the Student and
Teacher edition doesn't qualify for upgrade versions of Office products
either.
