Can I mark a message as NOT replied when I delete a draft reply?

Sometimes I draft a reply to an email message and then decide not to send the
reply. Outlook auto saves the draft reply, which I delete. However, my
email message is now marked as 'replied to', when in fact, it is not replied
to! Is there a way to change the icon back to the standard read but not
replied icon?
 
It can be done, but it would require writing some VBA code that uses the CDO 1.21 library.
 
So for the typical lay person, the answer is 'no' (I don't code and don't
think that the office would appreciate me messing with code even if I could).

Annoying little bug. Thanks anyway.
