Can I make Outlook save notes on the desktop by default?

I've made a desktop icon to create a Note without opening Outlook, but if I
want the note on the desktop I have to open Outlook and drag the note there.
Is there any way I can change the default location for saving notes?
 
No. You will need to have Outlook open to view or drag notes. I use this
application instead -
