After you convert your PPT presentation to a video file (AVI, WMV or MPEG
etc..) you can then burn this onto VCD.
Most CD burning software can create VCD disks. This type of disk can contain
roughly 1 hour of video with roughly the same quality as a VHS tape. The
video is encoded as MGEG-1.
The nice thing about VCD is that you can play it on almost all DVD players
and also you can play it on older Windows computers with older CD-drives.
Alternatively, SVCD is considerably higher quality video on a CD (about 40
minutes) but is encoded as MGEG-2 and therefore needs a corresponding DVD
decoder to play on your PC. Again, most current DVD players will handle
SVCD.
