Greetings,

I have a favorite program "Powerdesk" that I use often but it is kind of
slow opening. I'm thinking of the way Netscape/Mozilla have an icon
in the sys tray to help it open faster.

Can I do this with "Powerdesk" (it's a file mangaer)?

Thanks,

Mark

Sure, either 1) open the program and look in its Preferences to see if
there is a setting to allow it to start with Windows; or 2) drag a copy
of the .exe file into your Startup folder. An easy way to do the latter
is to right-click on the Start button and choose "explore". You'll then
be able to right-click the icon for PowerDesk from the Programs menu
and drag it to the Startup folder in the Programs menu. When you let go
of the right mouse button, choose "Copy".

Go to Options | Preferences. On the General Settings tab, check
the box "Minimize to System Tray."
