Can I keep Auto Text from repaginating with each use?

I type legal documents, trials, etc. with a lot of Q (for question) and A
(for answer) on the left hand margin with a 5 space hanging indent. I have
put the Q and A with the indent format in Auto Text. When I use the A it
automatically repaginates the document, which is tiresome because some of my
documents are hundred of pages long. Does anyone know how to keep this from
happening?
 
Repagination is inevitable if you work in the print layout view. A solution
may be to turn off background pagination in tools > options and work in
normal view. You will still have to repaginate the document when you have
finished editing, but this should speed things up a bit.
