Can i create an entry effect followed by an exit effect to follow one
another continuously until i click for the next slide.
For eg i wish to have text crawl in (enter effect) slowly from the
right letter by letter (10% delay) immediately followed by a crawl out
(exit effect) slowly to the left letter by letter (10% delay) - this i
want to repaet indefinately so that i have a sort of continuous
horizontal scrolling effect. Is this possible?
If there is any way to achieve this do let me know

No, you can't have a pause between the repeat effect. But why don't you have
the object crawl THROUGH the slide? Place it outside the slide and apply
crawl in and repeat.

You can choose credits entry effect to have a vertical scroll effect
you can put an exit effect (do not put an appear effect) and set it tp play
with previous. also set its repeat property to Until end of slide
This will work exactly the way u want.
